Taylor's professional career started on YouTube. She began by making ASMR videos using her smartphone. PewDiePie also featured her in an online gaming video not long after she reached 50,000 subscribers about 1 1/2months after uploading the first video. Taylor stopped working on her Youtube channel two months later. Nearly 100,000 subscribers. The main reason was technical difficulties and she was overwhelmed. Following a long hiatus of about a month, she began making videos and uploaded videos again, among them the popular ASMR 10 Triggers to Help You Sleep (35 million views by August 2022). ASMR 20 Triggers to Help You Sleep, a series of videos aimed at Sleeping, first appeared on YouTube in July of 2017 and is now seen by 38 million viewers. Following the milestone of 1 million YouTube users, she was featured in the Shane Dawson interview in August 2017. Wired UK calculated that she was earning $1,000 a daily on her YouTube Channel in February 2019.

Helfer is a native of rural Donalda, Alberta, Canada and was the daughter of Dennis Helfer and Elaine Helfer. The couple is of German and English descendance. She was educated at the William E. Hay Composite High School of Stettler situated in Alberta. Her sisters Tammy, Tara, and Trena were also employed by her on the family farm. When she was 17, a modeling scout from an agency discovered Helfer while waiting in line to enter a cinema.
